These are the only partners that ease their loneliness and feelings of isolation. Many people feel uncomfortable around other people, thus resorting to crippling solutions to fill that emotional need for belonging.

They know that they are harming themselves physically and psychologically. They may even want to change their behavior. Yet, their debilitating and even lethal companions have caged their minds.

It is sad to want to stop harming yourself but can’t muster the inner strength to do so. It is not that you are weak. You just can’t or have not found a positive and constructive filler. Such a filler would replace the debilitating companions that hold a stronghold on your need. These companions are even lethal as you try to fill the emptiness you feel.

Debilitating and even lethal companions come in many forms. The subtle and controlling of which are thoughts. The thought that you need someone or something to feel fulfilled. The thought that you can’t do without a certain habit. The thought that a debilitating and even lethal companion help you in some way.

You feel the effects of your debilitating and even lethal companions and know that everything about it is a fake. It is a companion that brings slow death. It causes premature wrinkles. It leads to damaged gums and teeth. It creates an unwillingness to connect with other people.

Debilitating and even lethal companions act in disguise. They claim to add value to time, peace of mind, and physical fulfillment. All the while birds are singing; buffaloes are roaming as life passes you by.

So, what is the solution to free yourself of your debilitating and even lethal companions. That depends on the individual. Each person must form their own path to true companionship. The aim is finding something wholesome and nourishing to fill the time.
